Police in Wakiso District, Central Uganda, have launched a manhunt for a 40-year-old man who allegedly killed his 3-year-old stepson in revenge following separation from the child’s mother.
Senkanjako Vincent is said to have committed the heinous act on March 26, 2024 and escaped.
The police report says that Vincent and his wife Nakintu Faith Florence were living as a family but they separated after his wife discovered that he stole a mobile phone, television and UGx 100,000 from their house.
The next day, Vincent is said to have followed Nakintu with the intention of reconciling and begged her to return home.
Then the body of the victim was found in a room near their house with serious injuries on the head caused by a sharp object which caused instant death.
