Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya has said Kenyans should be alert or aware of impersonators that were using his name to scam Kenyans.
In a statement on Sunday he advised Kenyans not to listen to all those scammers promising them fake jobs.
“t has come to my attention that many innocent Kenyans are being conned and duped in my name by criminals impersonating me. Kindly I wish to warn the public to ignore those who are soliciting money in my name and promising them job opportunities and any other favors.” he said.I
He further assured Kenyans that incase there was any job vacancies in Trans Nzoia advertisements will be made to the public thorough county government of Trans Nzoia website and other media outlets.
He explained that once the job opportunities availed themselves He would give make sure the everything would be conducted in a fairly manner and there would be stiff competition .
He finally called upon Kenyans to kindly be on high alert about this imposters scamming them using his name. He said that as of the moment there were no job opportunities.
