Evans Michori, the prime suspect in Nakuru killings has been detained for 14 days pending investigations.
Evans is accused of the killing of four women in Mwanga estate, Nakuru . He is being detained for two weeks to allow police to look into the matter.
Michori was arrested last week in Kisii county after a mobile phone he had taken from one of his victims was traced to him before being arraigned in court before Nakuru Senior Principal Magistrate Charles Ndegwa.
Evans Michori among five other perpetrators;Dennis Alisiola, Ficky Wanjala, Julius Omondi, Isaac Kinyanjui and Joseph at Simiyu were both arraigned in court ln Tuesday July 5, on charges of the killing of four women in Nakuru.
The state in an application filed by Corporal Kennedy Mwachi at the DCI offices in Nakuru County, said the police be able to establish more evidence to allow them have a solid case withing the 14 days given.
He added that the detectives have crucial jnformation that may aid in the arrest of the criminals.
“The detectives want the six to be escorted to Rift Valley Provision General Hospital for extraction of DNA samples, profiling and mental assessment, ” read an apication.
