Authorities are searching for a 60-year-old man who vanished after digging up the body of his sister-in-law Joan Apondi, who had been buried on his farm for 12 years, and delivering it to his ex-wife home.
The suspect’s ex-wife, Monica Adhiambo, who resides in Suna East Sub County’s Kakaro Trading Center, claimed on Ramogi FM on Thursday that she and her ex-husband had separated three years ago as a result of family disputes.
According to reports, the suspect had previously visited her ex-wife and threatened her for refusing to reconcile, which led him to carry her sister’s body in a sack and drop it in her house.
Mr. Joel Amwenya, the assistant location head for Kakaro North, said that the investigation is still ongoing in order to find the suspect.
