Mr. Jacob Ocholla Mwai, the 62-year-old man who claims to be the biological son of former Kenyan President Mwai Kibaki, says his life is in danger after an unknown people followed him and attempted to kill him while driving in Nairobi.
Mr. Ocholla noted that it was on Wednesday when two young men followed him while he was traveling toward James Gichuru Road on a motorbike on while carrying weapons. When they hit his car with the motorbike, he exited the car thinking it was just a regular accident.
He returned to his car since the motorbike men had driven off when he had pulled off. He continued on and eventually ran into the two men as they were approaching the James Gichuru road.
“I grabbed my water bottle and threw it at them as soon as I realized that they were the same people. I noticed they had a pistol when they lost their balance. This made me change direction and head to the village market,” Said Mr. Ocholla.
He added that he reported the incident to Spring Valley Police Station in Westlands, Nairobi on Thursday under Occurrence Book number 24 since he fears for his life where police officers have started an investigation into the matter.
“Since then, I haven’t eaten because I’m in shock. I want Kenyans to be aware that whatever happens to me, I have already recounted everything to the police and that I have told them everything,” he added.
