There was a footage that was posted on Twitter on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Pastor Ezekiel’s church in Mavueni showing the moment he warned Central Kenya people about rejecting Uhuru Kenyatta. The retired president faced opposition from his people in the last
days of his second term for endorsing Raila Odinga’s presidential bid. Ezekiel said that, the incoming government would make many suffer economically with Kenyans saying his prophecy has been fulfilled.
He warned Kikuyus that they would regret not listening to the retired president. Uhuru wanted ODM Party leader Raila Odinga to become president, but William Ruto toppled him. Ezekiel insisted that he was not lying by saying that those who opposed Uhuru would regret it. Ezekiel pointed out Uhuru’s legacy projects, including rural electrification and improving healthcare by building and upgrading numerous hospitals not to mention the express Way in Nairobi that has greatly reduced traffic in Kenya.
According to pastor Ezekiel, the late president Mwai Kibaki received a similar treatment despite bringing economic revolution. “When Kibaki came into power, he built the Thika Superhighway, but you also rejected him. But the man changed the nation. When he died,
you said he did great things in 10 years.” He warned Kenyans about the incoming government, saying: “Nyang’au anakuja. A government is coming, and in six months, you will hear of a scandal and the people who will put them in power are you.” The prophecy has come true and Kenyans are now suffering from a high economy and they are facing proposed new increased taxes.
