President William Ruto has expanded his administration by appointing additional staff to his government with a gazette notice dated March 10, 2023, barely two weeks after he appointed more staff to his administration that will aid him in delivering his duties to the public.

Former West Pokot governor John Lonyangapuo has been appointed chairperson of the Board of Directors of the North Rift Works Development Agency, after the application of David Chumba Chemweno, who previously held the position, was withdrawn.

The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority, was appointed to former East African Affairs, Trade and Tourism PS John Konchella to serve on its board for a period of three years, and Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo will serve as chairperson of the LAPPSET Corridor Development Authority Board for same amount of time.

Following the revocation of Daniel Omino’s appointment, the Board of Directors of the Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency was added to former Chair of the Lake Basin Development Authority Odoyo Owidi, with immediate effect from March 10, 2023 to December 3, 2023.

Jane Ngoiri, a former NTV journalist, has been appointed by the head of state to the HIV and AIDS tribunal, and Anwar Oloitiptip, a former Lamu county senator, will join Mr. Mbogo as a board member of the LAPPSET team, along with Eng. Shadrack Tulon, Abdikahiya Maalim, Nasra Ibrahim Ibren, and Jeremiah Apalia Lomari.
