An American teacher who shot to fame on a reality TV show with her twin has reportedly tied the knot three years ago

According to public records obtained by US TODAY, Abby Hensel, now 34, from Minnesota, tied the knot with Josh Bowling, a nurse and military veteran in 2021.

Abby and her sister Brittany, one of only a few sets of dicephalus twins in history to survive infancy, rose to fame on their TLC show that chronicled their major life events, including graduating high school and finding jobs.

The twins share one body, and from the waist down, all their organs, including the intestines, bladder and reproductive organs, are shared.

In a documentary filmed when the girls were teenagers, their mother said they were keen to have children of their own one day, explaining: ‘Maybe that’s something that can work because the organs are working for them.’

In another interview, Brittany emphasized their desire to have a family of their own, saying: ‘The whole world doesn’t need to know who we see, what we do and when we do it. But believe me, we are completely different people.’

Abby added: ‘Yes, we’re going to be mums one day, but we don’t want to talk about how it’s going to work yet.

On the TikTok account @abbyandbrittanyhensel, a video was recently posted showing Abby’s wedding day – and the Facebook account Britt and Abby also had a photo of the happy couple.
