“Navutishwa” hit maker Benson Mutua alias BenSoul recently revealed why he broke up with his long-term girlfriend Noni Gathoni. In an interview with Massawe Japanni, he explained that romance had ended in their relationship thus prompting the decision to break up, adding that he was the one who initiated the break up.
He added that at some point in their relationship there was no love and therefore forcing things would have made it worse. Bensoul acknowledged that he is content with his life and currently focusing on his music career and fatherhood.
“The relationship simply ended. You know, love sometimes fades away. I’m enjoying being single. My focus now is on my music and raising my daughter,” he said. The talented singer mentioned that his decision to end the relationship did not affect him negatively but instead motivated him to accomplish more.
His revelation on why he split with Noni has left fans in awe since they had been dating for an extended period of time. In May 2023 the musician revealed that he had done a DNA test on the child he had sired with Tiffany Wanjiru Muikamba.
This move had fans speculating that it might have been the reason he broke up with his long- term girlfriend Noni Gathoni. However, in an interview with Mic Cheque Podcast Bensoul denied these claims saying that they didn’t break up because of his baby mama or the fact that he had a child with another woman.
