A family from Nebraska is mourning the death of Toraze Davis, 48 who died shortly after his wedding ceremony on 19th June 2023. What started as a day of celebration turned into chaos when the groom collapsed during photo taking session. Medical reports indicated that he died from a fatal blood clot.
The couple had only been married for ten minutes when the broom collapsed in front of friends, family and the couple’s children. Toraze was rushed to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead. Johnnie Mae the bride had recently lost her father before losing her husband on her wedding day.
“It was the happiest day of Toraze’s life. I could just see the smile on his face and how happy he was, And it’s just his energy. I just knew that it was a great day for him.” said Monica Miller a family friend. According to friends and family, the couple had their wedding on that specific day in honor of the groom’s grandmother.
Friend and family are offering emotional and financial support to the bride and family. “We really want her to just rest and take care of her children and herself,” said Miller.
