The famous Kenyan tiktok Brian Chira is expected to be buried today, Tuesday, March 26 in Githunguri, Kiambu county.
Chira passed away on March 16, 2024 after being hit by a truck on the Kiambu road while going home from an entertainment venue. The announcement of the death and burial that was made by the family a few days ago indicated that the body of the deceased will leave the Kenyatta University mortuary on Tuesday morning after which the burial will take place in Ingitei village, Gathanje, Githunguri area, Kiambu.
Earlier last week, tiktok Baba Talisha, who is part of the funeral committee, revealed that the place where the late Chira will be buried is at her grandmother’s house. He said the mourners will first gather at Kenyatta University’s Mochari at around 6am before heading to the burial site. The viewing of the body will take place at the mortuary, followed by a small funeral service before mourners proceed to the main service in Githunguri.
On Saturday, Baba Talisha announced that the clothes that the late Chira would wear on the day of the funeral had already been bought. He showed the suit that the deceased would wear and the graduation gown to be worn over the suit, this was to fulfill the wishes of Chira’s grandmother.
In another post, the tiktoker posted a video that showed him and his grandmother Chira inspecting the coffin and revealed that musician KRG the Don had already paid for the coffin in which the deceased would be buried. In another statement, the tiktok member asked for peace to be maintained and announced that drunks will not be allowed at the funeral.
