Former Nairobi senatorial candidate Margaret Wanjiru is counting her losses after unknown people invaded and demolished her church.
On Wednesday, March 6, unknown persons demolished part of the Jesus Is Alive Ministries church located along Haile Selassie road. Speaking to journalists, the preacher slammed the Kenyan Kwanza government, claiming the demolition was politically motivated.
The politician wondered why his property was being demolished, while he invested a lot in Kenya Kwanza campaigns. Wanjiru claimed that the Director General of Kenya Railways sent the hooligans to demolish the wall of the church because it was built on government land.
There was a large line of police who supervised the demolition to ensure there was no disturbance from Wanjiru’s supporters.
