Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has condemned Iran’s attack on Israel.

On Saturday, Iran fired more than 300 drones and missiles at Israel.

Israel’s military, however, said 99 percent of missiles and drones fired by Iran overnight were intercepted without hitting their targets.

In a statement, Kalonzo has called on Israel to refrain, saying that efforts should be focused on ending the Gaza war.

“I join the international community in condemning the attack on Israel and Iran at a time when all our energies should be directed towards ending the war in Gaza,” Kalonzo said.

“The Group of Seven’s collective diplomatic response is commendable, as is President Joe Biden’s assurance that the United States will not engage in any counter-attacks against Iran.”

Kalonzo said that the quick action has prevented a bigger crisis saying that the UN should take full responsibility to calm and defuse the crisis.

“Neither the Middle East nor the world can afford an all-out war at this time. The Middle East cannot enter into a war with itself right after the Easter and Ramadan celebrations,” he said.
